This is the installation guide for the android GPS Navigation for BMW 5 series E53 X5 (1999-2006)

Notice:

1, The android screen is 10.25 inch screen, it need to make a permanent hole on the dashboard
(fixing the android screen), there is a guide paper that telling you how to cut the dashboard.

2. The power cable is plug and play, no cutting the wires, no need to program your car when installation.

3, If your BMW E53 X5 with factory navigation, you also need to install the GPS antenna
(can not use original GPS antenna or make a retrofit for the GPS antenna).

Installation steps:

1, Remove the frame for original radio head unit. 2, Remove the fixing screws for original radio head unit

3, Take out the original radio head unit. 4, Connect the power and test the functions before installation,such as camera etc

5, Tape the cutting guide paper to the dashboard. 6, Cut the dashboard (make a hole) for android screen

7, Install the bracket for android screen. 8, Install the android screen

9,Install the iDrive know we offered

11,Power on and test the functions. 12, Test the back view camera

13: Test the factory functions. 14: Done

Tips:

To enhance the use experience, you can install a backup camera, when you back the car (switch the gear to " R " - reverse mode), the android screen can show the rear-view pictures automaticly.

You can buy the backup camera from our shop and send it together with your order. Also you can install an Apple carplay dongle, the carplay dongle support both Apple Carplay and Android auto.
