This is the installation guide for BMW 1/2 series F20 F21 F23 android navigation system. For the android navigation, you can buy [B211A] (left hand drive) or [B231A] (right hand drive) from our website.

Notice:

1, The android screen is 10.25 inch screen, it will replace the original 6.5'' /8'' screen, but it keep the original CD/Radio head unit in the car, thus it support all original functions: such as factory radio (FM),CD,navigation,backup camera, steering wheel controls, iDrive, parking system,vehicle display and etc.

it is easy to switch the menu between the original NBT menu and Android menu, the iDrive working in both original menu and android menu.

2. The installation is plug and play, no cutting the wires, no modifications, no need to program your car when installation.

3, If your BMW F20/F21/F23 with factory navigation, you also need to install the GPS antenna
(can not use original GPS antenna or make a retrofit for the GPS antenna).

Installation Steps:

1: Remove the AC panel. 2, Remove 2 connections from AC panel

3: Remove the 4 screws 4: The CD panel, Factory display, the cover on the bottom can be taken out after the screws was removed

5: Remove 2 screws and take out the CD host 6: Remove the cables (lvds) from factory LCD

7: Remove the original power harness from the CD host 8: Connect our cable (one side) to factory connector

9, Insert our power cable （the other side) to CD host) 10, Connect the power cable for our display (this cable go though the inner box and up to the back of our screen

11, The power cable go up to the back of our our screen 12, Connect the power cable to our screen, also connect the LVDS to our screen

13, You can power on the unit, to see if connections (power cable, LVDS) go well or not 14, Connect the GPS antenna

15, Connect the AUX 16, Connect the AUX (under armrest box)

17, Recover the car dashboard, the installation finished

Tips:

To enhance the use experience, you can install a backup camera, when you back the car (switch the gear to " R " - reverse mode), the android screen can show the rear-view pictures automaticly.

You can buy the backup camera from our shop and send it together with your order. Also you can install an Apple carplay dongle, the carplay dongle support both Apple Carplay and Android auto.
