This is the installation guide for aftermarket BMW X1 F48 android Navigation system. For the android navigation screen, you can buy it from our website,there is two versions:

For BMW X1 F48 (2016-2017), the factory with NBT system, then please order [B209A]

For BMW X1 F48 (2018), the factory with EVO system, then please order [B509A]

Installation steps:

1: Before installation 2, Remove the Air outlet panel

3: Before pull out the Air outlet panel, you need to remove the AC panel
in the bottom 4, Remove the AC panel

5, Remove the 2 screws and take out the factory head unit 6, Remove
the 2 screws and take out the factory screen

7: Remove the LVDS connector from Factory screen 8: This factory
LVDS(6 pins) connect to our android screen

9: Remove the car original screen bracket 10: replaced it with our screen braket

11, After removed 2 screws (step 5), now remove the factory harness
from the back of Factory CD head unit

12, Our wire connections showed as below photo:

A: Connect our power cable to factory CD head unit B: Connect our
power cable to factory power harness

C, Connect the Power cable/LVDS/GPS antenna to the back of our
android screen 13: Install the GPS antenna

14, Connect the AUX [ ps: If the car from 2017-2018 with EVO menu,
the sound go via USB, thus,no need to connect AUX) 16, Connect the
AUX (under armrest box )

15, Double check the wire connection and power on,and test all functions
before recover the car dashboard.

Notice:

1. The android navigation from our website fits for BMW X1 F48 with original NBT/EVO system.

Both of them with the same LVDS (6 PIN), but the software are not the same, you have to order the right models for the car, if not, it can not install to the car.

2, After installation, it support all original functions: such as idrive, factory radio (FM), steering wheel controls, parking sensors, factory vehicle display and so on.

it is easy to switch the menu between the original NBT/EVO menu and Android menu, the iDrive working in both original menu and android menu. it is a perfect navigation retrofit & upgrade.

3. The installation is plug and play, no cutting the wires, no modifications, no need to program your car when installation.

4, If your BMW X1 with factory navigation system, when install our android screen, you also need to install the GPS antenna (can not use original GPS antenna or make a retrofit for the GPS antenna).

Tips:

In order to improve the user experience, you can install a backup camera, when you back the car
(switch the gear to " R " - reverse mode), the android screen can show the rear-view pictures automaticly.

You can buy the backup camera from our shop and send it together with your order.
Also you can install an Apple carplay dongle, the carplay dongle support both Apple Carplay and Android auto.
