Installation manual for BMW X3 X4 Navigation GPS system

This is the installation guide for the aftermarket Android GPS Navigation system for BMW X3 F25 X4 F26. For the android navigation gps system, you can buy it from our website, but before order, you need to clear which model is ok for your car.

• For BMW X3 F25 2014-2016 original NBT system, please choose [B223A]  (8.8 '' screen), or [B263A] (10.25'' screen)
• For BMW X3 F25 2011-2013 original CIC system, you can order [B253A] (8.8 '' screen), or [B243A] (10.25 '' screen)

Notice:

1. The android navigation from our website fits for BMW X3 F25 X4 F26 (2011-2016) with original CIC/NBT system,

make sure to order the right models for the car. The CIC is 4 pin LVDS, while the NBT is 6 Pin LVDS, it can not install to the car if you order a wrong model.

2, After installation, it support all original functions: like factory radio (FM), steering wheel controls, idrive, parking sensors, factory vehicle display and so on.

it is easy to switch the menu between the original NBT/CIC menu and Android menu, the iDrive working in both original menu and android menu. it is a perfect navigation retrofit & upgrade.

3. The installation is plug and play, no cutting the wires, no modifications, no need to program your car when installation.

4, If your BMW X3 X4 with factory navigation system, when install our android screen, you also need to install the GPS antenna (can not use original GPS antenna or make a retrofit for the GPS antenna).

Installation steps

Before installation

1: Remove the cover in the bottom    2, Remove Vents

3: Remove 3 connectors on the back of vents    4: Remove the 6 screws
so that to take off the factory monitor & AC control panel & Radio control panel

5: Remove 2 connectors on the back of AC control panel  
6: Remove 4 screws,then remove the factory radio head unit

7: Remove the original power harness from the radio head unit  
8: Remove the 2 optical fiber cable from the factory harness, and insert
it into our power cable (female connector)

9, Connect the our power cable (female) to factory CD head unit  
10, Install the factory radio head unit back to the dashboard

11, Remove the LVDS cable from the factory screen   12, Connect the
Power cable/LVDS/GPS antenna /USB cable to android screen

13, Install the android screen     14, Recover the dashboard, the installation is done

Tips:
To enhance the use experience, you can install a backup camera, when you back the car (switch the gear to " R " - reverse mode), the android screen can show the rear-view pictures automaticly.

You can buy the backup camera from our shop and send it together with your order. Also you can install an Apple carplay dongle, the carplay dongle support both Apple Carplay and Android auto.
